Keshav Krishnan
Keshav Krishnan(11) is a young classical pianist based in the Netherlands. Keshav started following lessons when he was 7 years old.
He has won prizes in several competitions most notably the Jurica Murai
(Varazdin,2022), the Danubia Talents (Budapest,2022), Globe International Piano Competition (Hilversum,2023) where he also won the Audience prize and the Young Piano Stars (Konigs Wusterhausen,2023), KOHA Spotlight Concours 2024.
He has also had the honour of playing at many prestigious concerts such as the Orbetello Seaside Concert(Orbetello,2022), Kamermuziek concert(Leur,2023), Koffie bij de Piano(Den Bosch,2023), Appeltaartmatinee(Heerlen,2023), Kapel Op Veld(Maastricht, 2023). In March 2023, Keshav played for the Mayor of Hilversum Gerhard van den Top. In February 2024, Keshav was part of an educational tour to the music city of Leipzig where he had the pleasure of performing some of Robert Schumann's works in the Schumann Haus. Keshav also opened the prelude for Thomas Beijer&Barbara Kozelj and Caspar Vos&Ella van Poucke in the Kamermuziek tussen de Maas en de Waal 2023. Keshav played the Bach piano concerto no.5 in F minor with the orchestra in Paris in August 2024.
At present, Keshav is a student of the Junior Classical Department at the Conservatorium Maastricht under Alejandro Serena and Joop Celis. Besides his concerts, workshops and activities, Keshav enjoys playing the violin. His hobbies include reading non-fiction, playing chess and building with Legos and writing code.
