Sofiia Dorosh (piano)

Sofiia Dorosh, 14 years old, an 8th-grade student of the Kyiv State Music Lyceum named after M.V. Lysenko in the class of the Honor worker of culture of Ukraine Tetiana Abaieva. Now she lives in Gouda with her mother because of the war in Ukraine. At the moment she is a student of Davidsbundler music Academy in The Hague with Tatiana Abayeva.

Sofiia is a laureate and winner of many all-Ukrainian and international competitions during 2016-2022, winner of the first prizes and the GRAND PRIX prize in the nomination "soloist with orchestra". Sofia's latest success is the absolute 1st prize in the 2nd Great Piano Masters International Piano Competition Rudolf Kehrer Edition, 2022.

She also has a rich concert history:

- participated as a young gifted pianist in the 1st International Chamber Music Festival in Ede (Netherlands, May 2018); at the classical music festival in Alicante (Spain, October 2018); played at the concert in Barcelona (Spain, June 2019); took part in the report concert of Lysenko Music Lyceum in the Column Hall of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine (March 2021)

- participated in master classes and performed at concerts within the framework of the international chamber music festival in Cividalle, Italy (August 2021 and August 2022)

- was invited to the national television project of the Kultura TV channel and the Ukrainian Radio "I am virtuoso", where she played with the orchestra of the Ukrainian Radio (Kyiv, 2021)

- during March-July of 2022, she performed at benefit concerts for Ukraine together with other students in many cities of the Netherlands - Wormerveer, Delden, Gouda, Entschede, Baarn, Asperen, Den Haag, Marsen, Amsterdam as well as at such important festivals of the Netherlands as Stift Festival and Oranjewoud Festival.

- in June 2022 took part in a concert at the Kleine zaal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

- has performed in September 2022 with the Concertgebouw chamber orchestra at Klassiek op het Amstelveld at the Amsterdam Festival.

- has performed on national Netherlands Television in the program MAX in September 2022

- took a part in a concert Young Talent Huygens Festival in September 2022
